Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how to delete your ReControl account and the data associated with it. ReControl is published by NOSAL WEB SALES (SASU). You can delete your account at any time, either directly inside the app or by contacting us at contact@recontrol.io.
1. Delete your account from within the app
The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the ReControl app:
- Open the ReControl app and sign in.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- In the Profile section, tap "Delete my account" (shown in red).
- Confirm twice when prompted. Your account and associated data are then permanently deleted.
2. Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app, email us at contact@recontrol.io from the email address linked to your account, with the subject "Account deletion". We verify the request and delete your account within 30 days at the latest, and we confirm by email once it is done.
3. Data that is deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently erase the personal data linked to it, including:
- Account and authentication data (email address, sign-in provider identifier, language, time zone).
- Your profile and onboarding answers (first name, goals, declared screen time, date of birth).
- Your activity and gameplay data (exercise sessions, coins, XP, level, streaks, personal records, quests, apps-blocked count).
- The link between your account and your subscription identifier.
4. Data stored only on your device
Some data never leaves your device and is not stored on our servers: your camera feed (used only for on-device exercise detection) and your selection of blocked apps. This data is removed when you delete the app or clear its data from your device settings.
5. Data we must retain
After deletion, we keep a limited set of data only where the law requires it or to prevent abuse:
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. Billing is managed by the app store, so to stop future payments you must also cancel your subscription in Google Play (Play Store → Subscriptions) or, on iOS, in your Apple account settings.
- Billing and transaction records, kept for the period required by applicable accounting and tax law.
- Minimal security and fraud-prevention logs, kept for a short period and then deleted.
